Tyler Palmer - Strength & Conditioning Coach

Tyler brings 5 year of Strength &  Conditioning experience to the program. In addition to an extensive playing career, that seen stops at the Junior, College, and Pro Ranks, he is also the owner of Total Performance Fitness, where he focuses his efforts now on working with athletes ranging from youth hockey all the way to the NHL.” “For me, I’m extremely passionate about teaching the “why” for athletes so they understand how off ice training will help translate to better on ice performance”. “Working with young athletes is an extremely rewarding experience for me as I’m able to help set up a foundation for future success in sport and life.”

Ty Rimmer - Director of Goalie Instruction

Ty is originally from Edmonton and played his minor hockey with KC growing up.  He played 4 years in the WHL and went on to have a 7-year professional hockey career.  Ty is the current goalie coach for the Tri City Americans (WHL), Whitecourt Wolverines (AJHL) and NAX Hockey Academy.  In 2015 Ty Rimmer was signed by the Edmonton Oilers organization in signing a one-year AHL contract with the Bakersfield Condors.  Rimmer appeared in 6 games with the Condors before he was reassigned to new ECHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals. 

Sébastien Bisaillon - Player Development Coach

Sébastien, originally from Mont-Laurier Quebec, played 4 years in the QMJHL and in his last Jr season spent some time with the Edmonton Oilers. Sébastien went on to have an incredible 15-year professional playing career retiring 2 seasons ago.  Sébastien is a current NAX coach and a highly sought after development coach with Dynamic Hockey, working with players of all ages including current NHL players.

Ehren Menard - Player Development Coach

Ehren has a distinguished coaching career where he prides himself on building relationships with the athletes and a modern style of coaching. As well, he brings a direct focus to player development while challenging the athlete to try different methodologies. His main goal in hockey is to help up and coming athletes throughout their journey in hockey and life.  Ehren is currently the Head Coach of the NAX U17 Prep team.
